Personal Belongings Cover

Personal Belongings Cover is an optional extra designed to complement your contents insurance by providing you with additional cover both inside and outside of the home.

This covers personal items and high risk items normally worn or carried in everyday life owned by any of your family, or for which they are legally responsible. Covered items include money, portable satellite navigation systems, sports equipment and musical instruments.

Key features of Personal Belongings Cover:

• Single items covered up to £1,000
• Overall limit of £1,000 - £5,000 to suit your needs
• Provides cover for contents both inside and outside the home
• Cover provided for money up to £100
• Provides cover for items lost or stolen outside of the British Isles for up to 60 days in any continuous 12-month period

Overall limits:

• £1,000 in total - unless you have selected a different total limit of £2,000, £3,000, £4,000 or £5,000 from the Personal Belongings selection menu. A £1,000 single item limit applies in certain circumstances.
